The City of Edmonton offers an impressive array of fantastic options for eating out, many of which are quite unique. In order to assist you in navigating Edmonton’s dining scene, we polled a group of graduate students at the University of Alberta Department of Psychology to choose the establishments that they think are the very best the city has to offer. If you do not trust the culinary opinions of these students (or just wish to see a greater range of options), we have also provided some helpful links below. First, Avenue–a local newspaper and media source–asks culinary experts annually to rank the very best restaurants in Edmonton (both in various categories and overall) and then provides these rankings on their website. Second, the Edmonton Tourism Team at exploreedmonton.com provided a terrific blog post about the best restaurant, dining, and bar/pub patios to visit in Edmonton. Since it is too cold in this city to enjoy a patio for most months of the year, it is important to take advantage of the beautiful summer weather as much as you can!
